Balancing Ourselves

As part of our science lesson on our body parts we tested our balancing skills. The first experiment we tried was to stand with our backs, legs and knees to the wall. Our teacher told us to try and pick up a counter without bending our knees or moving away from the wall. We discovered that we would fall over trying to do this.

The next experiment we tried was also very difficult. We had to keep our shoulders and back against the wall and try lift our leg. We all found it hard to do but tried our best.

Our Teeth

We learned how important it is to look after our teeth. From now on we all promise to brush our teeth everyday and eat and drink foods that will keep our teeth strong and healthy. In our science experiment we put one egg into water and another egg into coke. We left them overnight and came back the next day to find a big surprise. The egg in the water stayed clean and the egg in the coke had turned brown. When we brushed the brown egg it became cleaner but still was not as nice as the egg in water. This is why we should drink water instead of fizzy drinks.
